All rope access work is carried out under the IRATA International Code of Practice (ICOP), which defines the planning, management and execution of rope access operations to ensure the safety and health of all personnel involved.

How we apply IRATA standards:

• All technicians hold valid IRATA qualifications (Levels 1, 2 or 3)
• Risk assessment and method statement (RAMS) prepared for every project
• Occupational health assessments specific to work at height
• Emergency rescue plan in place for every operation
• PPE certified to EN standards and inspected before every use

BS 7985 is the British Standard Code of Practice for the use of rope access methods for industrial purposes. It covers the requirements for safe planning, management and execution of rope access work in the UK.
